Instagram’s strong EDC community centers on stunning pocket dump photos, gear flatlays, and quick video reels. Here are some of the best everyday carry Instagram accounts to follow (with follower counts as of mid-2025):

  • @everydaycarry304K followers. This is the official Instagram of EverydayCarry.com (run by Bernard Capulong). It’s essentially “Your community for everyday carry gear” in visual form. The feed features curated pocket dump photos from around the world, highlights of innovative gear, and announcements of EDC trends. They often repost community submissions, making it interactive. If you want daily EDC inspiration and to see how others organize their gear, @everydaycarry is a top-tier source.
  • @real_men_carry~19K followers. Real Men Carry is both a website and Instagram page focusing on handcrafted, heritage-quality EDC items. Their IG offers stunning original pics of knives, leather goods, watches and more, often with rustic or outdoor backdrops. The photography makes the gear “pop,” and it’s great for getting ideas on classy additions to your carry. Expect to see custom leather wallets, sleek pens, and the occasional firearm – all presented with an eye for style.
  • @gtdunn (Greg Dunn)EDC enthusiast with a dedicated following. Greg’s feed is a steady stream of the items he’s carrying or modifying. He’s a true gear addict who also shouts out cool brands you might not know. Regular posts include pocket dumps and close-ups of knives, watches, and multi-tools. Greg also hosts the @gearinguppodcast on IG (and as a podcast) with over 80 episodes on EDC culture. Following @gtdunn not only gives you gear pics but connects you to his broader content like interviews with other EDC nuts.
  • @properedc – A popular account especially for those who favor the tactical side of EDC. ProperEDC’s feed shows a wide range of EDC items, focusing on guns, knives, and survival gear. Scroll through and you’ll see handguns artfully arranged with blades and flashlights, or a hiking carry with firearms included. If you’re a hunter, outdoorsman, or just appreciate a well-kitted range bag, @properedc will speak to you. The account often tags gear with brand names, so it’s easy to discover new tools or weapon accessories.
  • @tonych_edc – Tony’s EDC account isn’t the largest, but it’s noted for eye-catching photography. His posts are vibrant, with great use of color and composition that really makes gear stand out. Even common items like a Swiss Army Knife or a KeyBar key organizer look extra appealing in Tony’s shots. For those who appreciate the art of EDC photography as much as the gear, @tonych_edc is a must-follow. It’s pure “gear porn” in the best way, often giving you ideas on how to photograph your own carry.
  • @instafr4nk (EDC by Frank)27K followers. Frank’s account has been highlighted as a “very sizable EDC account” and for good reason. He posts excellent pics of his everyday gear: knives, flashlights, watches, pry bars, and more – often with detailed captions or mini-reviews. What’s cool about @instafr4nk is the variety; one day it’s a high-end custom knife, the next it’s an affordable flashlight, all shot beautifully. Frank also engages with the community through Q&As and discussion prompts (“What’s one tool you can’t leave home without?” etc.), making his page interactive.
  • @edc_tactical_photographer (Scott Attaway) – A photographer-craftsman who merges his skills on his feed. Scott’s IG showcases not only guns, knives, and tools he carries, but also features striking handkerchiefs and other EDC gear he makes. The account gives a very personal look at EDC items in use, often with moody, rich visuals. You’ll see a mix of custom firearms, handmade leatherwork, and everyday tools. It’s a great example of EDC meeting creativity – you’ll come for the gear photos and stay for the aesthetic and occasional product drops (his handmade hanks are sought after).
  • @jack_survivalist – An Italy-based everyday carry page bringing a global flavor. Jack’s account provides a look at EDC through a European lens. There are regular posts of products, often in partnership with various gear makers, so you get to see some European and international EDC items that might not be common elsewhere. The feed can jump from Italian-made leather pouches to Swiss knives to American flashlights. It’s a refreshing mix and shows how EDC is a worldwide phenomenon. If you want to broaden your horizons and find new international gear brands, @jack_survivalist is worth a follow.
  • @havestonhorology – For the watch lovers in EDC, Haveston Horology’s account is all about those wrist-game upgrades. EDC enthusiasts often include a nice timepiece as part of their loadout. Haveston makes military-inspired watch straps, and their IG shows off plenty of elegant NATO straps and vintage-style bands paired with popular EDC watches (Seikos, G-Shocks, etc.). Even if you’re not in the market for a strap, the account is eye candy for watch+gear combos – and it might inspire you to match your watch strap to your wallet or knife for a “themed” carry.
